Since 2006 “Armenian PR association” scientific-informational NGO has organized different projects and campaigns: “Day of Book at YSU”, “Summer Serenade” Youth Festival dedicated to the International Youth Day, “We Learn PR Tools”, “Literature as an Event”(YSU, Faculty of Journalism), “The Days of Armenian Marzes in Yerevan”, “Armenia without Garbage”, “May Victories”, “Happy Children are the Guarantee of Healthy and Tolerant Society” art therapy, “We and The Internet”, “The Problems in Diaspora to the Eyes of Public Relations Specialists”, “Journalism as a PR Tool”, “Political PR Technologies”, “Media Relations”, “Communicative Skills of Political Leader”, “Creation of Leader’s Image”, “Branding”, “Advertising”, “The Peculiarities of Ethereal Advertising”, “Social Media and PR”, “The Media Coverage on Gender Equality Issues”, “PR news”, “PR cocktail”, “PR politic” Training Programmes. 

"Public Relations" and "Public Relations in the system of mass communication" lecture books were published in 2008 and 2014, which are an available source of the theoretical information for the public relations specialists as beginners. The author of the books is the President of "Armenian PR association" scientific-informational NGO, Associate professor of YSU Faculty of Journalism and Mass Media, Ph.D. Astghik Avetisyan.

The PR school was launched on the 23rd of February, 2015 by “Armenian PR association” scientific-informational NGO, with the aim to develop the skills and to improve the knowledge of Public Relations among the PR specialists and those who are interested in Public Relations, using non formal education methodology.


The objectives of the school are:


  • Equipping both the young specialists and beginners with the knowledge about Public relations, giving them opportunity to develop their skills in practice and know the ins and outs of PR,

  • Introduction with the well-known and experienced specialists in the field of Public relations with the aim of future cooperation

  • Retraining of Press secretaries and Public relations specialists

  • Implementation of scientific and applied research.

PR school

During the three months the school will introduce the participants with the activities and success stories in the field of Public Relations of the last 25 years. The participants will have training meetings with the outstanding specialists in the field of Public Relations, former and current high-ranking officials, press secretaries of Presidents and Ministries of Republic of Armenia.

PR cocktail for Youth worker

"Armenian PR association" scientific-informational NGO in the framework of EU "Youth in action" program implemented "PR cocktail for youth worker" international training course. The aim of the training was to raise the visibility of youth work, to improve the quantity of youth programs, to ensure publicity, to help young leaders from different parts of Europe by using PR tools and technologies for becoming presentable to public. More than 40 young leaders and specialists of public relations from Spain, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Turkey, Georgia and Armenia participated in this project.

Be a creative entrePReneur

“Armenian PR Association” scientific-informational NGO in collaboration with Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia implemented “Be a Creative entrePReneur” international training course which hold between May 25 to June 2, within the frame of Youth in Action program financed by European Union. The project will bring together 42 participants from Great Britain, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Poland, Georgia and Armenia.


”Armenian PR Association” scientific-informational NGO in cooperation with Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia organized "VIRTrUrAL CROSSROAD” youth exchange project, which was funded by EU Youth in Action program. In the project were involved 28 participants from Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine and Armenia.
